Spring 2024 Fatal Fire Training with Dr. Elayne Pope- Port Moody, BC

BC-IAAI hosted leading forensic anthropologist, Dr. Elayne Pope for a seminar on the investigation of fatal fires. Dr. Pope’s has conducted extensive research on the topic and her work is referred to in NFPA 921.

The event was attended by personnel from the Coroner’s office, law enforcement, fire departments, and the insurance sector.

BC-IAAI also gave two Lifetime Memberships, and gave a scholarship for a student to attend the seminar.
